I just finished my job of tracking drums for the new Dope record. As I said in a previous post, this CD will showcase my best drumming to date. I had a great time hanging out in Illinois with the band and working on the new material. The record is set for release early next year. I'm very exited about this one!
As the band continues to work on the new music, it's now time for me to go home and start getting ready for the upcoming Dope tours. First we have a few west coast shows playing as direct support to Black Label Society (with Zakk Wylde of Ozzy Osbourne). Then we hit the road on our own headlining tour.

*TEAM CYBERGEIST*
I am very exited to announce the official debut of my solo/side project Team Cybergeist! With this project, I bring together different musicians from all around the world to create music through the internet. Some guests so far include members of Genitorturers, PIG, Professional Murder Music, Pigface, Cogsucker, and many others.
The first official release is the "Dead Stars Rising" compilation CD from Toxic Shock Records. It includes the Team Cybergeist track "Right Here" which features guests Jason Knotek (PIG) and Jonny Vegas (Erase The Grey). I just wanted to give a quick thanx to the 20,000 + people who came out to WJJO's Band Camp 2007. That was the biggest show of my career so far. The crowd was insane!!! It was crazy sitting behind my drums and seeing thousands of people covered in mud (it rained the night before) yet still having a great time. I've posted pics in the LIVE PHOTOS gallery on the MEDIA page of this website... Again, thanx to all the fans and to all the other bands who played. It was a great day...

*DOPE/Studio/Festival*
I am currently up in Illinois tracking drums with the band Dope. This will be their 5th full-length record. The first with me on drums. The new songs are insane! Compared to the stuff I have recorded in the past, in my opinion, the drumming on this CD is going to be my best work so far. Lot's of pocket beats, tasty fills, and yes... Monster double-kick action! METAL!!! Hahaha!!!...
At the beginning of August, we will be taking a break from the studio to do some shows up north. One of which is WJJO's Band Camp 2007 in Wisconsin. Other bands performing this year include Stone Sour, Sevendust, Nonpoint, Kittie, Godhead, Finger Eleven, In This Moment, Black Light Burns, and a few others. *Tour / Studio Updates*
I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who came out to see me on my first tour with the band Dope. I've heard good things about their fans, but I had to see it to believe it. I can now honestly say that Dope has the most loyal, die-hard, and welcoming fans I have ever been around. Most of the shows were sold out. Some were over-sold! You guys rule!!!... I also want to thank the other members of the band for taking me in and letting me be part of something great... Thank you!... Playing drums for Dope is something that I have wanted to do for a long time. Probably since I got their first CD as a birthday present in 1999! Hahaha!!! Now that the tour is over, I will be going back to the studio to record the drum tracks for the new CD. The band is also planning on releasing a live DVD documenting this last tour. I can't let out any secretes about the new songs or the DVD. All I can say is... Well... You're gonna have to wait!!!

As of October 2006, I am officially playing drums for the band Dope....
As said by Edsel Dope, "We are very excited to announce that we have found our new Dope drummer in Angel. He's a great technical player and he's got a ton of the visual eye candy that has always been a part of Dope's live show. Its been more than a year and a half since Racci took what turned into a perminant leave of absence from the band. Through that time, we've done several tours with fill in drummers, while begining to write the new Dope album and decide on our permanent replacement. Thanks to Dan and Ben for filling in for us. We are very happy with Angels attitude and with what he contributes to our mix. He's young, hungry, and his attitude and work ethic are excellent. Not to mention the fact that he's a great dude and a killer drummer. We leave for our upcoming tour in less than 2 weeks, so those of you that haven't seen Angel play in his other bands, will get a chance to see him soon."

*2006 Year In Review*
Well, it's December... And another great year is coming to an end. This has been one of the busiest years of my career so far... Started the year off right playing drums for the band SWITCHED at the "Ghosts In The Machine" CD Release Party and Odean Farewell Show. This was the last concert the venue would ever hold before closing it's doors. Soon after, SWITCHED went out and headlined the "Ghosts In The Machine Tour 2006". Thanx to all the fans who came out. I made a lot of new friends on that tour. Next up was PIG. As most of you know, this band features Raymond Watts (founding member of KMFDM) and Guenter Schulz (KMFDM, PIGFACE, SLICK IDIOT). We also brought along my good friend Jason Knotek (IN WINTER) to play guitar on the tour. "The All Hamerican PIG Show 2006" took us from Florida to Chicago and everywhere inbetween. It was a great experience and an honor to be part of one of the most influencial bands in the industrial scene... PIG!!! After the PIG tour, I took some time off to hang out in Ohio with the band TINJEN (a band I co-founded with members of SWITCHED and RIKETS), writting and demoing songs for the first full length record... I also filled in on keys for some shows with the band IN WINTER. And I flew down to Florida to do some shows with THE TRIPLE SIXERS, a Tampa Bay "All-Star" cover band. It was also at this time when I got my DW/PDP Drums endorsement!!! After my break, I started working with CROSSBREED. I played drums for them on a short mini-tour of the mid-west. Good times!!! As soon as the CROSSBREED tour was over, I flew back down to Florida and hooked up with my old band, GENITORTURERS, to play drums for them on their first ever Australian tour! The "Tortured Souls Tour 2006" took us to New Zealand, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. Australia is by far my favorite place to tour. I love it there!!! Great cities. Great people. But more importantly... Great animals! Hahaha!!! When we returned to the USA, we got on a bus and drove up to the House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC. to open up and play as direct support to MOTLEY CRUE!!! Totally a dream come true!!! I played a few more Florida shows with GENITORTURERS, then left to go spend some time with my girlfriend in Ohio. A much needed break!!! I will be playing drums for GENITORTURERS at a couple of Special Event shows at the end of the year. Then it's onto my next project... I just wanted to give a quick shout-out and huge thanx to all of the fans who came out and showed there support to me on all these tours with these different bands. You guys rock and I love you all! THANK YOU!!! I'm starting my new project soon. And as soon as it's cool to go public with it, you will hear about it here first!!! See you all soon! We're gonna kill it in 2007!!!...

*Australia Tour*
I'm currently out on the road playing drums for the band CROSSBREED. As soon as the last show is over, I will hop on a plane and head back to Florida to meet up with my old band, GENITORTURERS. I will be teaming back up with them for the Australian leg of their headlining "Tortured Souls Tour 2006". This will be the bands first time ever touring Australia and New Zealand. I'm very exited about this one!!! As soon as we return back to the states, we will be playing at the House Of Blues in South Carolina as direct support to MOTLEY CRUE!!! Some other USA dates are being booked now, as well as a Special Event New Years Eve Ball in Seattle... More info coming soon...

My band, TINJEN, is now putting the final touches on our demo material. So for the next few weeks, I will be down in Florida working with the band CROSSBREED.
I have known the guys in CROSSBREED for a couple of years now and we have always talked about working together. We finally decided that now was the right time...
I will be down south working with the band on their new full-length record. Members of CELLDWELLER will also be collaborating on the CD. A mini-tour is being booked for late October / early November. So keep checking the TOUR DATES page on this website.

*Off The Road And Into The Studio*
Let me start off by saying thanx to everyone who came out and saw me on tour this Spring/Summer! You guys are awesome! Thanx for the support!!!...
I was out for a month playing drums for the band SWITCHED in support of their new CD “Ghosts In The Machine”.
As soon as that was over, I hit the road again playing drums for the industrial “super-group” PIG, featuring Raymond Watts (founding member of KMFDM) and Guenter Schulz (KMFDM, PIGFACE, SLICK IDIOT). The “All Hamerican PIG Show 2006” Tour was documented for a live DVD. There is no set release date as of now, but keep checking back here for updates. As most of you know, that tour had to get cut a little short. But don’t worry! PIG will be back!!! Plans for another USA tour are being worked out now. As well as bookings in Europe, Japan, Canada, and Australia.
Now that I’m back home, I’m working with my own project, TINJEN. We are busy writing and demoing songs for our first full-length record. TINJEN is planning on making its official debut later this Fall.

I just got home from the first leg of the SWITCHED Ghosts In The Machine Tour 2006. Thanx to everyone who came out to the shows You all rock!!!
At the end of May, i begin rehearsals for the ALL HAMERICAN PIG SHOW. On this tour, I will be playing drums for the band PIG. The band line-up for this tour will be:
Raymond Watts (ex-KMFDM) = Vocals / Guitar
Guenter Schulz (ex-KMFDM, PIGFACE) = Guitar
Jason Knotek (IN WINTER) = Guitar
Charlie M. = Vocals / Keys

I will be out on the road playing drums for PIG for about 2 months. As soon as that is over, I will be back out again with SWITCHED for the second leg of the Ghosts tour.

*Angel Teams Up With The Queen Of Scream*
That's right! I just teamed up with vocal coach, Melissa Cross! She is the creator of "The Zen Of Screaming: Vocal Instruction For A New Breed". Her clients include such acts as SLIPKNOT, ANDREW WK, LAMB OF GOD, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, ARCH ENEMY, CRADLE OF FILTH, ILL NINO, BLOOD SIMPLE, SHADOWS FALL, IT DIES TODAY, 36 CRAZY FISTS, and many others!
She has chosen me to compose some of the music that will be included on her new instructional CD’s titled "Scream Extra" and “Speak Extra”.
These auxiliary audio CD’s of vocal lessons will be available prior to the release of "The Zen Of Screaming 2". Melissa will be offering a package on her site exclusively that offers "The Zen Of Screaming" DVD, a T-shirt, a Melissa Cross logo dry erase board, and a choice of the new CD's (which my music will be a part of). One of the songs features Bizz (GENITORTURERS) on guitar!
Melissa will be appearing on Late Night With Conan O'Brien on April 12th to talk about "The Zen Of Screaming" and the up-coming DVD, "The Zen Of Screaming 2".

*Switch To Switched*
As you may or may not know, I have been busy in the studio recording tracks with my new project TINJEN. We have been working with producer Ben Schigel (CHIMAIRA, DROWNING POOL, BREAKING POINT) at Spider Studios in Strongsville, Ohio. There is no set release date, but we are planning on releasing the CD some time in the Spring... For more on TINJEN, please check out www.tinjen.com.
Aside from TINJEN, I am also now playing drums for the band SWITCHED. You may remember them from a couple of years back. Their Immortal Records release "Subject To Change" sold nearly 100,000 copies worldwide and saw the band touring on Warped Tour (2001 and 2002) and Ozzfest 2002. As well as tours with SEVENDUST, FEAR FACTORY, SPINESHANK, TOMMY LEE, NONPOINT, COLD, MACHINE HEAD, and many others. SWITCHED has a new home now with Corporate Punishment Records, who just re-released the "Subject To Change" CD. As well as the bands new record, "Ghosts In The Machine". Drummer Chad Szeliga is unable to perform with SWITCHED due to his endless touring and recording schedule with his new band, BREAKING BENJAMIN. So they brought me in to fill the shoes! Preferably Converse All-Stars! HA!!!
On February 28th, SWITCHED will be performing at The Odeon in Cleveland, Ohio. This marks a very special day, as it will be the first time SWITCHED has hit the stage in over 2 years! It's also serving as the CD release party for "Ghosts In The Machine". Corporate Punishment Records label-mates ALLELE (members of COLD and OTEP) are opening support. And to top it off, this will be the last show at The Odeon. The venue will be closing and locking it's doors after the show... Forever...
And keep your eyes open... A SWITCHED tour is being booked!!!...

This video was put together by Vinnie Saletto (www.ScreamingSound.com) and myself. It was filmed in different cities all across the USA during the Genitorturers Flesh Is The Law Tour 2004. *Studio Update*
Well, I'm back in the studio again! This time, it's with my new project, Tinjen (members of Switched, Genitorturers, Rikets, and Bedroom All-Stars). We started production on our first full-length release and have been recording in Strongsville, Ohio at Spider Studios. The CD is being produced by Ben Schigel (Switched, Chimaira, Drowning Pool, Breaking Point) and is set for release in the Spring of 2006.
